Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade applications using LLMs, including model APIs, structured outputs, agents, and multi-step workflows.
- Experience handling AI feature failures, latency, cost optimization, and reliability.
- Use a structured approach to prompt engineering and AI-assisted development, iterating deliberately and measuring output quality.
- Strong experience with relational databases and production data modeling.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, system design, software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as GCP or Microsoft Azure.
- Professional English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Preferred: production experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Preferred: experience with RAG systems, including chunking, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval quality optimization.
- Preferred: experience with LLM evaluation frameworks, multi-tenant SaaS or complex third-party API integrations, or modern frontend frameworks such as Angular 17+.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate backend services and core system components.
- Lead initiatives from ideation through production by defining technical solutions, coordinating contributors, and driving delivery.
- Build production AI features, including intelligent agents, assistants, and automation workflows.
- Design agent creation and orchestration systems with multi-step workflows, tool and function calling, state management, guardrails, and fallback mechanisms.
- Develop and evaluate prompts and retrieval pipelines using measurable quality results.
- Partner with Product to translate business needs into technical solutions and define minimum viable products.
- Review human-written and AI-generated code for quality, security, and maintainability.
- Explore AI models and development approaches through proofs of concept and integrate successful innovations.
- Apply system design principles to build scalable backend systems and evolve technical architecture.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
