Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience deploying LLMs into production at scale.
- Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Python (or strong experience in other OO languages).
- Extensive experience with AWS and serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2).
- Experience managing asynchronous workflows and cloud environments.
- Proficiency in relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.
- Proactive communication skills for surfacing blockers and managing stakeholders.
- A relentless, experimental approach to solving complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend systems for processing billions of unstructured data points.
- Drive technical direction and architectural decisions for the Submission Processing team.
- Build and deploy LLM-based systems into production environments.
- Own end-to-end project outcomes from design through implementation and scaling.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex, high-stakes insurance industry challenges.
- Experiment with, test, and iterate on novel solutions for previously unsolved problems.
