Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in system design, debugging, and complex problem-solving.
- Proven experience deploying and scaling LLMs in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python; candidates with other OO backgrounds are welcome.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments, including Lambda and EC2.
- Experience managing asynchronous workflows and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Ability to communicate proactively and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to own projects and drive them to completion independently.
- Comfort with iterative, experimental development cycles.
- Bonus: Experience with document pipelines and large-scale data processing.
Responsibilities
- Design and scale high-performance systems for processing billions of unstructured data points.
- Architect and deploy LLM-based systems into production environments.
- Drive end-to-end projects from conceptualization to completion with minimal oversight.
- Make critical architectural decisions under conditions of ambiguity.
- Set the long-term technical direction for the Submission Processing team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex, high-stakes insurance industry problems.
