Requirements
- 8-10 years of direct response experience (direct mail or digital account management).
- Experience in direct response fundraising within an agency setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in client management and customer service.
- Experience managing technical and client services teams, including virtual/remote teams.
- Proven ability to create and drive long-term fundraising strategies.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Understanding of eCRM systems (e.g., Convio/Blackbaud, Engaging Networks, EveryAction, Salesforce).
- Familiarity with CMS, email marketing, HTML, CSS, digital advertising, Google Grants, and SEO/SEM.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive fundraising and engagement strategies for clients.
- Manage and maintain long-term professional relationships with clients through regular meetings and communication.
- Lead a matrixed team of technical and client services staff to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
- Analyze campaign performance and KPI data to develop data-driven strategies for program growth.
- Oversee client budgets, campaign calendars, and scope of work within retainer agreements.
- Provide risk assessment and management across all client accounts.
- Support new business development through proposal input and presentations.
- Mentor team members by setting professional goals and providing ongoing feedback.
