Requirements
- Significant experience in accounting services delivery, ideally in a client-facing or operational leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to assess the quality of CAS and tax work at the engagement level.
- Experience managing and developing accounting teams, including hiring and building training programs.
- Comfortable operating in a technology-forward environment and engaging with product teams on workflow and tooling.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage complexity across multiple firms and workstreams simultaneously.
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-moving, startup environment.
- CPA is preferred but not required.
- Prior exposure to M&A, firm integration, or multi-entity operations is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accountants across acquired firms perform to standard, maintaining accuracy and delivery timelines.
- Monitor client responsiveness and assess CAS and tax work quality at the engagement level.
- Lead firm integration, guiding staff through transitions in tools, processes, and operating models.
- Develop onboarding and training programs for acquired staff.
- Manage the hiring and development of talent as the portfolio scales.
- Drive process improvement and standardize workflows across the practice.
- Translate field reality into product direction by identifying problems for the internal product team to solve.
