Requirements
- Preferred 1-2 years of relevant experience in software or SaaS sales.
- Strong track record of cold calling and closing high-value deals.
- Proven sales experience in the cloud technology space, particularly with SaaS products and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Strong hunter mindset with the ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in a competitive environment.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales enablement tools.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to operate independently and as part of a broader sales team.
- Willingness to travel to meet with prospects and attend industry events.
Responsibilities
- Target and penetrate whitespace accounts in the cloud-native ecosystem, identifying opportunities for new account growth among heavy spenders on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients, leveraging in-depth knowledge of the cloud services market and competitor landscape.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial contact and discovery through contract negotiation and closing, maintaining responsibility for achieving sales quotas.
- Conduct in-depth research to understand the specific needs of each prospect, tailoring presentations and proposals to align closely with their business objectives and cloud strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts, establishing Commvault as a trusted partner in cloud data management solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to ensure that presentations and demos effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions in the context of cloud-native operations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales and customer interactions within CRM systems.
- Travel to customer sites, partner events, and tradeshows to engage with prospects and enhance market presence.
