Requirements
- 3+ years of customer-facing implementation, configuration, or professional services experience in a SaaS environment.
- Equivalent experience administering public safety scheduling or workforce management systems.
- Strong public safety industry knowledge, including fire and EMS shift structures and operational scheduling.
- Working knowledge of complex scheduling rules such as minimum staffing, overtime, callback hierarchies, and Kelly cycles.
- Experience translating policy or contractual requirements into software configuration.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple concurrent customer projects.
- Excellent communication, training delivery, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with Rocketlane or a comparable professional services delivery platform.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
Responsibilities
- Configure the Scheduling module to match agency staffing policies, shift patterns, rotations, and hierarchies.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions to capture staffing practices and payroll interface requirements.
- Validate configurations against real agency scenarios including peak-staffing, holidays, and exceptions.
- Support payroll export and timekeeping integration requirements.
- Partner with the assigned Implementation Manager to deliver Scheduling milestones on plan.
- Maintain accurate project status, level-of-effort actuals, and configuration documentation in Rocketlane.
- Serve as the Scheduling subject matter expert on assigned projects.
- Surface product gaps, defects, and enhancement requests to leadership.
