Requirements
- High School diploma, 2 years of College, Trade School, or equivalent.
- 5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
- Leadership experience.
- Inventory management experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Knowledge of transit bus electrical, mechanical, air, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with CAN/J1939 communication protocols.
- 608 certification (preferred).
- ASE certification (preferred).
- CDL license (preferred).
- Ability to travel to various customer sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead technician teams performing warranty repair, PDI, and retrofit work.
- Manage customer relationships at the depot level to support future order awards.
- Travel regularly to customer sites to support and supervise field operations.
- Communicate status of field operations daily to Regional Product Support Managers and Regional Director.
- Oversee training plans for field technicians.
- Act as interim site manager during the Regional Product Support Manager's absence.
- Report all issues affecting company product or business to management.
- Participate in meeting architecture related to field operations.
