Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced technical degree is considered an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the healthcare industry, ideally in technical sales, business development, or commercial management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare packaging materials, including packaging science, nonwovens, films, coatings, and adhesives.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and sustainability considerations related to medical device and pharmaceutical packaging.
- Experience working with major OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or comparable organizations within the healthcare sector.
- Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships, negotiate effectively, and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, commercial acumen, and experience managing sales pipelines using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, combined with a proactive, resilient, and results-oriented mindset.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% across the EMEA region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and high-growth healthcare organizations across Northern Europe and the broader EMEA region.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities while maintaining a strong commercial pipeline through proactive account management and business development activities.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, secure business opportunities, and protect existing business through customer-focused sales strategies.
- Promote innovative healthcare packaging solutions by supporting customers in new product development, material selection, and alternative material adoption.
- Create and execute strategic account plans that align commercial objectives with customer needs while fostering collaboration across international teams.
- Partner closely with technical, quality, product management, supply chain, marketing, and customer service teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
- Represent the business within regional healthcare industry associations and maintain awareness of market trends, regulatory developments, and sustainability initiatives.
- Travel extensively across the EMEA region to develop customer relationships and support strategic commercial initiatives.
