Requirements
- University degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in swine sales, pig production, or a closely related agricultural commercial role.
- Strong understanding of swine production metrics, financial drivers, and operational performance indicators.
- Proven experience managing budgets, sales pipelines, and cross-functional account strategies.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and contract management skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities across multiple organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills in a field-based, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM and business tools such as Microsoft Office, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective swine production customers to drive revenue growth.
- Identify customer needs and deliver tailored product and service solutions that improve production efficiency and business outcomes.
- Build, manage, and execute account plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for assigned territories.
- Negotiate contracts, renew agreements, and ensure mutually beneficial commercial outcomes with key stakeholders.
- Identify new market opportunities, convert prospects into long-term clients, and expand regional business presence.
- Resolve customer issues by analyzing challenges, recommending improvements, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal technical, operational, and commercial teams to execute strategic account initiatives effectively.
