Requirements
- Senior-level experience as a Product Manager with a strong focus on reporting, analytics, data platforms, or insights products.
- Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code, with the ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code and prototypes.
- Strong end-to-end data literacy across models, schemas, lineage, and report generation.
- Proficiency in writing and reading SQL to validate results and investigate data discrepancies.
- Experience managing complex data schemas, query patterns, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Strong ability to align cross-functional stakeholders and navigate product trade-offs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data and AI trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Deep empathy for customer day-to-day workflows and strong UX sensibilities for reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision and roadmap for a multi-surface reporting system including dashboards, scheduled delivery, APIs, and AI-agent experiences.
- Build empathy for various personas to translate reporting workflows and trust thresholds into clear product priorities.
- Own payroll-grade reporting capabilities including standard reports, GL exports, reconciliation, lineage, and auditability.
- Develop intelligent insights experiences using anomaly detection and driver analysis while ensuring outputs are explainable and compliant.
- Partner with Data, Engineering, Design, Security, Legal, and Operations to deliver technically sound and scalable solutions.
- Establish and track KPIs for adoption, engagement, trust, and accuracy to drive continuous product improvement.
