Requirements

  • Senior-level experience as a Product Manager with a focus on reporting, analytics, data platforms, or insights products.
  • Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code required; must be able to autonomously debug and ship functional code and prototypes.
  • Strong end-to-end data literacy including data models, schemas, lineage, and report generation.
  • Ability to read/write SQL to validate results, investigate discrepancies, and ensure metrics are well-defined.
  • Comfortable with complex data concepts including joins, aggregations, double-counting, currency/timezones, and effective dating.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities to navigate trade-offs across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent UX sensibilities with a passion for building simple and trustworthy reporting workflows.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data and AI trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience with HR Tech, payroll, finance, or B2B SaaS is nice to have.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and roadmap for a multi-surface reporting system across in-app report building, dashboards, scheduled delivery, exports, and AI/agent experiences.
  • Build empathy for payroll, finance, HR, and executive personas to translate workflows into clear product priorities.
  • Own payroll-grade reporting foundations including configurable report building, GL/journal exports, reconciliation, and auditability.
  • Develop intelligent insights experiences leveraging AI, anomaly detection, and proactive recommendations.
  • Partner with Data, Engineering, Design, Security, Legal, and Sales to turn customer needs into technically sound, scalable solutions.
  • Establish and measure KPIs for adoption, engagement, trust, and accuracy to drive continuous product improvement.
