Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Analytics.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in data and analytics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with exposure to provider and/or payer operations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with claims data and provider network data.
- Minimum 5 years of experience and advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with analysis design problems and varied healthcare datasets (enrollment, benefits, claims, clinical, risk, healthcare financials).
- Ability to build relationships and work with influence.
- Preferred: Health Plan analytics experience (eligibility, enrollment, contracting, claim processing, capitation, call centers).
- Preferred: Developing operational KPIs and monitoring metrics.
- Preferred: Databricks/GitHub experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, define, and improve useful metrics and KPIs.
- Provide analysis-backed insights to improve business and clinical efficacy.
- Build relationships and trust with business partners.
- Use data, analysis, and modeling to optimize operations and clinical efficacy.
- Partner with the Data Warehousing team to design business-facing semantic layers and foundational information structures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical and non-clinical business rules and logic.
- Communicate complex business and clinical logic to stakeholders and leaders.
- Build and maintain an enterprise KPI catalog and dictionary and participate in KPI/metrics governance.
