Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience working in data analytics.
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment is preferred.
- Fluent in SQL at an intermediate level for direct data warehouse queries.
- Experience with dbt or data modeling.
- Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Lightdash.
- Ability to explore and leverage AI tools to accelerate workflows.
- Naturally curious with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems.
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex concepts to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain interactive reports and dashboards and develop data models from multiple data sources.
- Analyze historical data to create impactful insights and provide actionable recommendations to key priorities for stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop a deep understanding of Alma’s business and data to empower more effective decisions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for increased efficiency in current processes.
- Support and execute the BI team’s mission and strategy.
- Act as a liaison for data between the business and Engineering to help advocate for and prioritize improvements in our data capabilities.
