Requirements
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a closely related role.
- Understanding of job costing concepts and project-based accounting.
- Experience with payroll processing or payroll software.
- Strong attention to detail for data entry, payroll, and invoicing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Self-directed and comfortable working in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage recurring weekly and monthly responsibilities consistently.
- Construction industry experience is a plus.
- Experience with Foundation construction accounting software is preferred.
- Paycom experience is preferred.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll using Paycom, verifying timekeeping and payroll data.
- Enter and maintain job cost data in Foundation construction accounting software.
- Process accounts payable invoices and allocate costs to specific projects.
- Set up new jobs in Foundation with accurate project details and cost codes.
- Generate and distribute customer invoices based on project milestones and contract terms.
- Support senior accountants with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and accruals.
