Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience.
- 3+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.
- Deep working knowledge of payment rails and processing fundamentals including ACH, RTP, FedNow, SWIFT, and card networks.
- Working knowledge of US payments regulatory concepts such as MTLs, Agent of Payee, and Payment Facilitator models.
- Proven track record of building and driving multi-quarter product roadmaps and platform strategies.
- Experience managing relationships with payment processors and technology partners.
- Strong technical acumen to engage with engineering teams on API integrations, data modeling, and systems architecture.
- Ability to produce concise, data-driven memos and presentations on complex financial topics.
- Experience with interchange economics and optimization levers.
Responsibilities
- Define strategy around end-to-end payment metrics such as float days, cost per payment, and card mix.
- Develop and execute a multi-quarter product roadmap for payment optimization, regulatory compliance, and platform investment.
- Evaluate emerging payment technologies like RTP, FedNow, open banking APIs, and AI-powered reconciliation.
- Engage with customers to enhance products for fund collection and low-cost funding solutions.
- Lead identification and mitigation of regulatory risks including MTLs, Agent of Payee, and Payment Facilitator models.
- Manage commercial relationships with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and processors to influence outcomes and ensure SLA compliance.
