Requirements
- 4+ years experience designing digital products with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your process, systems thinking, and measurable impact on user outcomes.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts and agentic systems, including how models reason, use tools, and orchestrate multi-step workflows.
- Proven ability to design interactions that make complex agentic behaviors understandable and controllable for users.
- Collaborative approach to product development, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep commitment to understanding user needs through research, data, and direct engagement.
- Meticulous attention to craft and detail, with proficiency in Figma.
- Experience building scalable design patterns and systems.
- Clear, proactive communication skills for documenting decisions and articulating design rationale to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the design process end-to-end for your product area, identifying opportunities to improve user experience and drive product impact.
- Design intuitive, user-friendly experiences that balance technical complexity with accessibility and ease of use.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Conduct user research to understand needs, validate design decisions, and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
- Maintain a high craft and quality bar, ensuring every detail contributes to a cohesive and polished experience.
- Contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across the North platform.
- Partner with engineering to ensure designs are implemented with fidelity and make pragmatic tradeoffs when needed.
