Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, ideally across multiple entities or international business.
- Comfortable applying international accounting best practices.
- Strong Excel skills and solid Power Query experience.
- Experience with reconciliations, financial data, and accounting controls.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies quickly.
- Ability to take ownership and operate autonomously.
- Clear communication skills in English.
- Comfortable using AI/tools to improve efficiency.
- Nice to have: Power BI experience.
- Nice to have: A recognised accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent).
- Nice to have: Experience with consolidations or intercompany accounting.
- Nice to have: Experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting systems.
Responsibilities
- Support and help manage month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting across entities in different countries.
- Apply a consistent, internationally-minded approach to accounting treatment across all entities.
- Perform checks, reconciliations, and reviews across financial data, including intercompany and bank reconciliations.
- Investigate financial inconsistencies and resolve issues proactively.
- Structure, clean, analyse, and consolidate finance data using Excel and Power Query.
- Automate manual tasks and create scalable workflows.
- Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent reporting.
