Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with reporting and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and related integrations.
- Familiarity with Bill.com, ConnectBooster, HubDOC, and Autotask.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
- Experience in an MSP, SaaS, or technology services environment strongly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage client invoicing, AR aging, and collections using ConnectBooster.
- Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments using Bill.com.
- Maintain financial documentation and process receipts via HubDOC.
- Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition for MRR and project-based revenue.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain accounting process documentation and SOPs.
- Provide variance analysis and financial insights to management.
