Requirements
- 2+ years of experience selling software to public safety agencies or state and local governments (911, CAD, RMS, QA/QI, or similar).
- Proven track record of exceeding annual sales quotas.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills for technical and operational audiences.
- Familiarity with 911 center operations, public safety procurement, and government buying cycles.
- Proficiency with HubSpot CRM or equivalent sales platforms.
- Exceptional organizational discipline and self-starter mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for conferences, customer visits, and regional meetings.
Responsibilities
- Own a defined region to identify, research, and engage decision-makers at 9-1-1 centers and public safety agencies.
- Deliver high-impact, live demonstrations of CommsCoach software.
- Lead consultative discovery sessions to align GovWorx solutions with agency workflows and objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close, including accurate pipeline and forecast maintenance in HubSpot CRM.
- Partner with company founders and product leaders to shape opportunities and roadmap discussions.
- Handle all quote creation, pricing, and contract negotiations within government procurement processes.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team for seamless transitions and foster long-term account growth.
