Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience selling software to public safety agencies or state and local governments (911, CAD, RMS, QA/QI, or similar).
  • Proven track record of exceeding annual sales quotas.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills for technical and operational audiences.
  • Familiarity with 911 center operations, public safety procurement, and government buying cycles.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM or equivalent sales platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational discipline and self-starter mindset.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for conferences, customer visits, and regional meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Own a defined region to identify, research, and engage decision-makers at 9-1-1 centers and public safety agencies.
  • Deliver high-impact, live demonstrations of CommsCoach software.
  • Lead consultative discovery sessions to align GovWorx solutions with agency workflows and objectives.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close, including accurate pipeline and forecast maintenance in HubSpot CRM.
  • Partner with company founders and product leaders to shape opportunities and roadmap discussions.
  • Handle all quote creation, pricing, and contract negotiations within government procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team for seamless transitions and foster long-term account growth.
