Requirements
- 5+ years in a Solution Architect, Implementation Consultant, or similar role in Professional Services or consulting.
- Hands-on experience delivering or configuring core P&C insurance systems (policy administration, billing, claims, or underwriting workbenches).
- Demonstrated ability to design and document end-to-end solutions including configuration, integrations (APIs, file-based, services), and data flows.
- Strong business analysis and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with clear, audience-appropriate design documentation (solution designs, interface specs, decision logs).
- Ability to facilitate remote and in-person design and review sessions.
- Solid time management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- High attention to detail with ability to connect design decisions to business and architectural goals.
Responsibilities
- Participate in customer discussions on small and medium complexity projects to understand current state architecture and gather requirements.
- Participate in joint application design sessions and document design questions.
- Develop successful working relationships with customer architects and project teams.
- Assist in developing solution landscapes, context diagrams, and sequence diagrams.
- Assist in developing high-level design documents and provide guidance to developers and solution configurators.
- Provide weekly project status reports and assist in creating report documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of new releases related to integration, architectural, and functional capabilities of Insurity products.
- Identify and document technical risks or issues and escalate to project management.
