Requirements

  • Experience in U.S. medical office administration, patient intake, or healthcare coordination.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Comfortable handling phone-based communication with patients and insurance companies.
  • Experience using CRM, EMR, or EHR systems.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. commercial insurance processes.
  • Ability to work full U.S. Eastern Standard Time hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST).
  • Must maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.
  • Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to inquiries from prospective and active patients.
  • Convert qualified inquiries into scheduled evaluations and maintain accurate calendars.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Submit and track prior authorization requests with insurance payers.
  • Coordinate documentation between patients and providers.
  • Maintain patient data and case tracking within CRM/EMR systems.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct patient check-ins to ensure continuity of care.
