Requirements
- Experience in U.S. medical office administration, patient intake, or healthcare coordination.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Comfortable handling phone-based communication with patients and insurance companies.
- Experience using CRM, EMR, or EHR systems.
- Strong understanding of U.S. commercial insurance processes.
- Ability to work full U.S. Eastern Standard Time hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST).
- Must maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.
- Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and respond to inquiries from prospective and active patients.
- Convert qualified inquiries into scheduled evaluations and maintain accurate calendars.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Submit and track prior authorization requests with insurance payers.
- Coordinate documentation between patients and providers.
- Maintain patient data and case tracking within CRM/EMR systems.
- Follow up on leads and conduct patient check-ins to ensure continuity of care.
