Requirements

  • Experience selling into highly complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated consistent results and overachievement of quota.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to C-level executives.
  • Experience with solutions selling and positioning value to customers.
  • Deep understanding of Git, Software Development Tools, and Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Ability to use GitLab.
  • Ability to travel if needed and comply with the company’s travel policy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process through engagement of resources such as Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, and Partners.
  • Leverage solution selling expertise to identify business potential and build long-term customer partnerships.
  • Develop strategic account plans based on an understanding of customer business strategies, goals, and performance metrics.
  • Expand industry and competitive knowledge to contribute to win/loss root cause analysis.
  • Conduct sales activities including prospecting, developing opportunities, and presenting formal proposals.
  • Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products through coordination with engineering and support teams.
