Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Account Director or similar leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience working in the energy and utilities industry (strongly preferred).
- Proven track record in managing and expanding current accounts in a B2B environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets and drive customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant business tools.
- Advanced technical and business acumen.
- Ability to travel (less than 25% of time) to support client needs and industry events.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities for data-driven decision making.
- Understanding of Cloud, Web, Mobile App, and Marketing principles (preferred).
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in team environments.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing energy and utility clients as their primary point of contact.
- Monitor account performance metrics, analyze data, and perform quarterly business reviews to drive success.
- Identify and drive opportunities for account growth and expansion within the existing client base.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align efforts and support account expansion.
- Present and promote new products, upgrades, or solutions to clients to increase value.
- Anticipate and resolve risks or client challenges to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Provide sales forecasts, account updates, and activity reports to management.
