Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Account Director or similar leadership role.
  • 5+ years of experience working in the energy and utilities industry (strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record in managing and expanding current accounts in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant business tools.
  • Advanced technical and business acumen.
  • Ability to travel (less than 25% of time) to support client needs and industry events.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities for data-driven decision making.
  • Understanding of Cloud, Web, Mobile App, and Marketing principles (preferred).
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in team environments.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing energy and utility clients as their primary point of contact.
  • Monitor account performance metrics, analyze data, and perform quarterly business reviews to drive success.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for account growth and expansion within the existing client base.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align efforts and support account expansion.
  • Present and promote new products, upgrades, or solutions to clients to increase value.
  • Anticipate and resolve risks or client challenges to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide sales forecasts, account updates, and activity reports to management.
