- Familiarity with military culture or veterans disability law (preferred)
- Experience with legal case management systems (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Review VA decisions, rating decisions, denial letters, and claim files
- Analyze medical records, military records, and supporting evidence to identify theories of entitlement
- Draft written arguments, case summaries, and legal memoranda supporting disability claims
- Translate complex medical and military documentation into clear, organized written advocacy
- Research VA regulations, rating criteria, and relevant legal authorities
- Manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining high quality and accuracy
