Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Development, Venture Capital, Corporate Financial Planning, or Management Consulting.
- Heavy focus on technology, SaaS, or consumer internet sectors.
- 2+ years of direct people management experience.
- Exceptional ability to build complex, scalable, and risk-adjusted financial models from scratch.
- Strong command of strategic frameworks and market sizing methodologies.
- Proven ability to work across decentralized business units or subsidiaries.
- Experience creating structured, scalable financial frameworks from ambiguous or fragmented data.
- Deep resonance with Mozilla’s mission.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business.
- MBA or CFA charter is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Mozilla’s 3-to-5-year long-range financial model.
- Conduct rigorous market sizing and segmentation analyses (TAM/SAM/SOM).
- Oversee the financial performance and strategic alignment of direct investments and venture portfolios.
- Partner with subsidiary leadership to synthesize market insights and assess financial impacts.
- Recruit, mentor, and elevate a team of strategic finance professionals.
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership for board meetings and reviews.
- Evaluate the financial viability of internal product development versus strategic commercial partnerships.
