Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience designing or estimating MHE technologies and storage solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Microsoft Project.
- Experience with major conveyor manufacturers (Intelligrated, Dematic, Automotion, Hytrol, or TGW).
- High-level data analysis and cost tracking skills.
- Ability to thrive in an innovative and ambiguous environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management abilities.
- Ability to travel to client or vendor sites intermittently (up to 10%).
Responsibilities
- Prepare work estimates by gathering and analyzing proposals, blueprints, and specifications.
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements for projects.
- Design and develop solutions in collaboration with CAD designers and the sales team.
- Compute project costs through detailed analysis.
- Resolve project discrepancies by collecting and analyzing relevant information.
- Present prepared estimates through comprehensive numerical and descriptive reports.
- Maintain and update the cost database.
- Conduct site visits to proposed project locations as required.
