Requirements
- Seven years of direct experience selling educational technology solutions or services.
- Experience selling in a multi-state territory or region.
- Proven success in cultivating large ticket sales ($100K+ at the district and $30K+ at the school level).
- Solid command of major account sales methodologies (strategic/consultative, multiyear partnerships).
- Successful track record of driving new business with an annual quota of $750K+.
- Experience with CRM systems, territory planning, and forecast management.
- Proficiency in the use of technology for personal efficiency.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of K-12 market and competitive landscape preferred.
- Established relationships with district decision-makers preferred.
Responsibilities
- Articulate the value of Champions products and services to drive interest and engage new prospects.
- Create demand for new and upsell business within assigned school district territories.
- Independently manage the sales cycle from prospecting through deal closure.
- Develop and implement comprehensive territory and account strategy plans.
- Maintain Key Performance Indicators to meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales support and national partners.
- Conduct onsite or web-based product presentations and demonstrations.
- Manage accurate data and forecasting within the company CRM system.
- Negotiate contractual terms with prospects and clients.
- Plan and execute territory tradeshows, conferences, and events.
