Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Economics, Energy Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience in market strategy, competitive intelligence, product strategy, business development, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated experience operating in a SaaS or technology-enabled environment.
- Strong ability to conduct competitive analysis, market mapping, and ecosystem analysis.
- Proven experience negotiating and structuring commercial or product partnership agreements.
- Working knowledge of transmission, distribution, and interconnection planning processes.
- Ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous inputs into clear strategic guidance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive-level interaction.
- Ability to influence strategy and business decisions through expertise in cross-functional environments.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain GridUnity’s Market Map as a strategic decision tool to visualize competitive positioning, ecosystem dynamics, and risks.
- Develop competitive intelligence on key players and adjacent solutions to identify whitespace opportunities.
- Synthesize competitive, regulatory, and market signals into decision-ready insights for executive leadership.
- Define and manage the full lifecycle of strategic product partnerships, including business case development and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Experience to ensure market insights are integrated into the product roadmap and adoption strategy.
- Provide functional leadership and strategic guidance to cross-functional teams without formal line management.
