Requirements

  • Proven track record in senior sales or business development within the events, MedTech, HealthTech, or life sciences sectors.
  • Strong existing network across the US and Canadian MedTech, HealthTech, or healthcare innovation ecosystem.
  • Ability to work independently without day-to-day direction, while remaining a strong and collaborative team player.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and closing high-value commercial agreements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Comfort operating across multiple time zones and markets simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel across North America and internationally for events and client meetings.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and a disciplined approach to pipeline management.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue across MedTech World's sponsorship, exhibition, and partnership offerings for the US and Canadian markets, covering all four annual summits.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of sponsors, institutional partners, hospital systems, government bodies, and corporate exhibitors from within the North American MedTech and HealthTech ecosystem.
  • Lead the full sales cycle independently, from prospecting and outreach through to proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Develop tailored commercial proposals that match sponsor and partner objectives to MedTech World's event portfolio.
  • Represent MedTech World at industry events, conferences, and networking forums across North America to build brand presence and generate leads.
  • Work closely with the partnerships and marketing teams to ensure a seamless experience for sponsors and partners before, during, and after each event.
  • Provide regular pipeline reports, revenue forecasts, and market intelligence to the leadership team.
  • Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities across the region, including health system innovation arms, venture funds, accelerators, trade associations, and federal and state government bodies.
