Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial pharmaceuticals or biotech.
  • 2+ years of experience in market access, complex sales, or specialty sales.
  • Experience in institutional acquisition and reimbursement models (e.g., Medicare, 340B, ASP, WAC).
  • People leadership experience in management, training, or team leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and contracting experience with diverse payment models.
  • Knowledge of the market access landscape, including legislation and payer trends.
  • Strong executive presence and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and virtual meeting tools.
  • Ability to travel regularly for several days at a time.
  • High degree of integrity and ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Increase awareness, market share and revenue for Azurity’s portfolio with targeted stakeholders.
  • Negotiate National GPO contracts and direct/indirect regional contracts.
  • Analyze, track and report on customer insights, business interactions, and contractual performance.
  • Develop, maintain and present strategic business plans to support brand decision making.
  • Build and grow business partnerships across assigned customer segments.
  • Provide sales team training on reimbursement, billing, coding, and payer access.
  • Attend national and regional conferences to develop alliances with access customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Brand, Analytic, Insights, Legal, and Regulatory teams.
