Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B selling experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the photovoltaic industry.
- Strong existing network of renewable energy Project Developers and EPCs.
- Currently living in the Eastern USA and residing within one hour of a major airport.
- Ability to travel 50% annually for face-to-face sales activities.
- Demonstrated ability to find and sign up new prospects.
- Experience with value selling and designing account penetration strategies.
- Ability to identify decision makers in complex deals.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without supervision.
Responsibilities
- Contact and build relationships with existing prospects and clients to understand their needs.
- Generate and contact new leads through various sources and trade publications.
- Develop account penetration strategies to grow the customer base within the assigned territory.
- Achieve sales volume, revenue, and gross margin targets.
- Manage the entire sales cycle for PV modules in small utility, commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
- Communicate sales forecasts, opportunities, and prospect reviews.
- Collect and report competitive market and territory data to inform marketing strategies.
- Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to close new sales opportunities.
