Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B selling experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in the photovoltaic industry.
  • Strong existing network of renewable energy Project Developers and EPCs.
  • Currently living in the Eastern USA and residing within one hour of a major airport.
  • Ability to travel 50% annually for face-to-face sales activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to find and sign up new prospects.
  • Experience with value selling and designing account penetration strategies.
  • Ability to identify decision makers in complex deals.
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Contact and build relationships with existing prospects and clients to understand their needs.
  • Generate and contact new leads through various sources and trade publications.
  • Develop account penetration strategies to grow the customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve sales volume, revenue, and gross margin targets.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for PV modules in small utility, commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
  • Communicate sales forecasts, opportunities, and prospect reviews.
  • Collect and report competitive market and territory data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to close new sales opportunities.
