Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in real estate, proptech, or MLS/association leadership roles.
  • Deep knowledge of MLS operations, governance, and data licensing.
  • Proven track record of building trusted industry relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong public speaking and media presence, including experience on panels and keynotes.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities to influence stakeholders, policymakers, and industry leaders.
  • Analytical acumen to assess competitor activity, industry shifts, and regulatory risks.
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently from a remote location with necessary home office infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior field team representative with national, state, and local Realtor® associations, MLSs, and industry organizations.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with brokers, agents, association executives, and MLS leaders.
  • Drive MLS retention, data coverage, and product adoption through strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee the acquisition, licensing, and integration of MLS data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Represent the company at major industry conferences such as Inman, NAR, and CMLS.
  • Direct and lead the Industry Relations Field team, including engagement, communications, and events strategy.
  • Provide coaching, onboarding, and leadership development for the field team.
  • Manage administrative tasks, budgets, and performance review processes.
