Requirements
- Active clinical mental health license: LCSW, LMFT, or LPC required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical care experience working with chronic and severe mood and anxiety disorders.
- Experience with motivational interviewing, diagnostic assessment, and clinical triage.
- Knowledge of current best practices and evidence-based treatments for mood and anxiety disorders.
- Proficiency in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills.
- Excellent active listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort using computer platforms and learning new software systems.
- Ability to multi-task and manage context switching efficiently.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
Responsibilities
- Perform telephonic screening, brief intervention, and referral of members to a mood and/or anxiety specialty treatment provider.
- Apply active listening, psychoeducation, and motivational interviewing skills to help members set and meet goals.
- Utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills to coach members during their care journey.
- Identify appropriate level of care and coordinate referrals with Spring Health providers.
- Provide in-the-moment support and safety planning for members in crisis.
- Document information, maintain records, and perform follow-ups within an EHR system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including provider operations and billing to ensure smooth member experience.
