Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of operational quality, quality engineering, or process excellence experience.
  • 5+ years owning and scaling a quality function.
  • 5+ years managing cross-functional and team-specific initiatives in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate quality strategy into system design, process controls, and operational execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Direct experience shifting quality operations from manual auditing toward automated, system-embedded controls.
  • Familiarity with AI and LLM applications for quality monitoring and predictive error prevention.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability without direct reporting authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the strategy to scale quality through automation, software-based quality controls, and AI-enabled monitoring.
  • Build AI-driven monitoring that flags error signals in real time and surfaces risk patterns.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to embed automated quality checks directly into operational systems.
  • Shift the quality function from detecting errors to preventing them upstream through process controls and system design.
  • Manage an escalation framework for cross-functional quality issues, ensuring resolution and documented outcomes.
  • Maintain a live initiative tracker for all active quality projects and provide staffing models and reporting standardization.
  • Lead and develop the quality team across audit, analysis, and quality engineering functions.
