Requirements

  • Four-year college degree.
  • Five to seven years of related professional experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read and interpret professional journals and business documents.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • RN designation (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and manage travel requirements for site audits.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key risk areas and develop risk assessments by specialty practice.
  • Create and execute an annual QA plan, including testing of key requirements.
  • Track progress of the annual QA plan and report results to stakeholders.
  • Manage performance improvement and plan of correction activities.
  • Research and interpret regulations, accreditation standards, and industry trends.
  • Manage, train, and appraise performance of QA staff.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and 3rd parties for compliance audits.
