Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in Grocery and Natural Channels.
  • Proven experience with top Natural and conventional retailers such as Whole Foods, Sprouts, Publix, and Ahold Delhaize.
  • Track record of influencing strategic decisions through senior-level partnerships.
  • Experience managing key retail accounts and collaborating with brokers and distributors like KeHE, UNFI, and DPI.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with Data Tools such as SPINS or Nielsen and Retailer Portals.
  • Expertise in trade analytics, including selling prices, margins, and market trends.
  • Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build deep, multi-level relationships with key buyers, category managers, and retail leadership.
  • Manage brokers and distributors to ensure distribution, new item introductions, and promotional execution.
  • Build and maintain strategic annual trade promotion calendars while managing trade spend rates.
  • Determine product assortment and optimize SKU mix across accounts.
  • Prepare business reviews and sales presentations for major retailers.
  • Conduct store audits and provide strategic direction to brokerage teams.
