Requirements
- Experience in Benefits Administration, including designing quality plans and retirement programs.
- Strong commercial acumen to assess business impacts and negotiate terms.
- Skilled negotiator with a strategic mindset regarding benefits offerings.
- Top-notch project management skills to drive reporting, adherence to deadlines, and process iteration.
- Strong analytical skills with thorough knowledge of plan designs.
- Ability to evaluate and make judgments on Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Knowledge of benefits contract language.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to improve research, analysis, and operational workflows.
- Ability to configure HR or benefits platforms; experience with APIs or workflow tools is a plus.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Research employee benefits plans and vendors to identify the best value offerings.
- Design, recommend, and implement new benefits programs based on cost projections and trends.
- Negotiate with vendors and administrators to maintain market-leading, competitive benefits plans.
- Serve as the primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations for benefits plans.
- Analyze current benefits coverage, cost, and effectiveness to inform future designs.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Automation, Payroll, and Legal teams to ensure scalability of new programs.
