Requirements
- Experience in Benefits Administration, including retirement plans.
- Strong background in providing excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to design quality benefits plans.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating vendor terms.
- Top-notch project management skills, including reporting and process iteration.
- Strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of plan design.
- Ability to evaluate and make judgments on Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Knowledge of benefits contract language.
- Ability to learn and configure HR or benefits platforms.
- Proficiency in using AI tools for research, analysis, and operational workflows.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Research employee benefits plans and vendors to identify the best value options.
- Design, recommend, and implement new benefits programs based on cost and effectiveness analyses.
- Negotiate with vendors and administrators to maintain market-leading, cost-effective offerings.
- Serve as the primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable government regulations.
- Analyze current benefits coverage, cost, and utilization to forecast trends.
- Provide customer service support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle escalations regarding benefits plan issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Engineering, Payroll, and Legal to ensure implementation scalability.
