Requirements

  • 5-10 years of sales experience within a consumer-packaged goods company.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a field sales team through servant leadership.
  • Experience in the Natural Products Industry and relevant classes of trade.
  • Proficiency in Data Tools (SPINS, Retailer Portals) and Trade Math.
  • Established relationships with key retail accounts and multiple distributors.
  • Full competence with G-Suite and Microsoft Suite.
  • Clean driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong planning, organization, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management, marketing, and national accounts to execute strategic direction.
  • Establish and manage partnerships with DSD distributors and regional food brokers.
  • Translate national business strategy into clear, locally executable plans.
  • Negotiate funding agreements with distributor partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of Regional Managers to deliver territory results.
  • Conceive and execute short and long-term plans for portfolio architecture and territory expansion.
  • Leverage consumption data to develop fact-based business plans.
