- Thorough understanding of operations, compliance requirements, and workflows within Public Safety and Public Administration agencies.
- Established professional relationships within the public safety vertical.
- Proven ability to sell to committees and navigate complex, hierarchical procurement environments.
- Strong understanding of how video management and access control products align with end-user operations.
- Familiarity with vertical-specific tradeshows, associations, and publications.
- Deep knowledge of procurement processes and requirements used by public sector end users.
- Exceptional time management and territory planning skills.
- Ability to anticipate product and market needs based on vertical-specific trends.
Responsibilities
- Understand existing customer environments and long-term goals to proactively expand product usage.
- Close consumption gaps by helping customers fully utilize the platform.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector.
- Navigate buying cycles, promote grants programs, and position the platform in RFPs.
- Collaborate with channel partners, Sales Engineers, and SMEs to drive demand.
- Attend and contribute to industry tradeshows and regional user groups.
- Maintain disciplined, strategic, and timely CRM activity.
