Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a leadership role in finance (e.g., Director, VP, or Head of Finance).
- Professional experience in the tech or SaaS space.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and modeling.
- Proven experience partnering with a CEO and executive team.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Quickbooks or NetSuite.
- Experience scaling financial systems and processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with SaaS tool administration, vendor management, and software contract negotiation.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
- Experience in the eCommerce/Shopify ecosystem (nice to have).
- Experience managing HR/People Ops functions (nice to have).
- Hands-on experience with fundraising and tax compliance (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Own FP&A, financial modeling, and long-term planning.
- Lead investor reporting and board-level financial presentations.
- Manage cap table administration and equity matters.
- Oversee KPI scorecard reporting and financial dashboards.
- Support strategic initiatives including M&A and fundraising.
- Oversee legal, insurance, compliance, and audit processes.
- Lead the People Ops function, including employee lifecycle management.
- Partner with leadership on people strategy and compensation benchmarking.
- Manage the company’s SaaS tool stack, license tracking, and vendor relationships.
- Lead negotiations for software renewals and establish tool governance.
