Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification desirable.
- 5+ years of financial and/or operations leadership experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in a multi-entity nonprofit environment.
- Experience managing budgets over $8 million.
- Extensive experience with intercompany transactions.
- Direct hands-on experience managing operations (technology, vendors, facilities) and HR functions.
- Experience as a people manager.
- Proven experience leading annual audits.
- Proficiency with NetSuite accounting software.
- Proficiency with Paylocity HCM software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex financial information.
Responsibilities
- Manage organizational financial resources through strategic fiscal planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Sustain robust financial systems, internal controls, and compliance across multiple entities.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and department heads regarding budgeting and forecasting.
- Lead annual audit and 990 preparation processes as the primary liaison for external auditors.
- Oversee business operations including IT infrastructure, hardware, and vendor contract management.
- Direct human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compensation strategy, and policy implementation.
