Requirements
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of global payment systems, including regional rules and regulations.
- Proven experience in fraud, risk, KYC, investigation, and risk management.
- Expert experience in managing, leading, and building a wider team.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to use data to drive improvements.
- Experienced in owning and solving complex payment issues.
- Strong understanding of compliance and risk awareness.
- Prior payment operations experience in tech, fintech, or the gaming industry is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and manage core payment operations and KPIs related to payment performance, acceptance rates, conversion, and compliance.
- Oversee the development and implementation of fraud prevention and risk management strategies.
- Analyze market trends in the payment space to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Monitor business and process metrics to identify and deliver operational improvements.
- Manage, recruit, and lead a team of payment specialists across different geographies.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to solve local challenges and improve customer experience.
- Act as a primary point of contact with network partners to resolve production issues.
- Oversee investigations of suspected fraudulent activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
