Requirements
- 2+ years of direct Fraud/Abuse Operations experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Subject matter expertise in fraud concepts and prevention best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to perform fraud investigations and make evidence-based decisions.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and office software such as Excel and Google/Microsoft Suite.
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet specified SLAs for claim reviews.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to deep dive into internal and external data.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing, results-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Review claims in real time for potential fraud/abuse and provide feedback for risk models.
- Analyze customer behavior and incidents to make independent risk score judgments and claim determinations.
- Conduct fraud investigations to identify emerging trends and abuse patterns.
- Follow regulatory and departmental procedures while documenting investigations with evidence.
- Collaborate with Claims, Product, and Engineering teams to improve fraud detection models.
