Own regulatory and licensing matters across ongoing operations and new products or initiatives.
Set priorities with the compliance team and improve terms and conditions, license applications, filings, approvals, and renewals.
Represent Extend in regulatory examinations, inquiries, and audits alongside the compliance team and outside counsel.
Monitor regulatory developments and advise leadership on emerging requirements and risk.
Coach and develop the compliance team and define its long-term structure and career paths.
Embed compliance requirements into merchant onboarding, customer experience, contracting, product workflows, and program design.
Establish and monitor KPIs for licensing accuracy, timeliness, and cost, and improve processes and vendor relationships.
Set direction on service contract terms and conditions with outside counsel, and maintain internal controls, documentation, and reporting.
Identify opportunities to use AI and other technology to improve licensing, filing, and regulatory reporting processes.
