Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Coordinator or HR Generalist.
  • Previous work experience in service, logistics, manufacturing, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and pre-employment compliance.
  • Experience with visa verification processes.
  • Hands-on experience using Employment Hero or similar cloud-based HR software.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • High-level written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior HR qualifications (nice-to-have).
  • Experience with SimPro software (nice-to-have).
  • Familiarity with WorkCover claims and injury management (nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end HR support, operations, and compliance.
  • Verify pre-employment compliance, including right-to-work and visa documentation.
  • Maintain employee records and conduct audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare employment contracts and coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Support payroll processing and provide information for claims.
  • Manage employee data in SimPro and Employment Hero.
  • Track compliance certificates, LMS training completion, and headcount reporting.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including shortlisting and scheduling.
