Requirements

  • 2+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Experience with platform products, developer tools, data infrastructure, analytics platforms, or data governance systems.
  • Technical foundation through a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in engineering or technical roles.
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions while representing customer and business needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build alignment across diverse teams.
  • Strong systems-thinking skills to connect workflows, platforms, and business outcomes.
  • Empathy for data practitioners and understanding of their challenges.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and break down complex problems.
  • Curiosity about AI and its impact on the data landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the product strategy and roadmap for Spotify's data catalogue, metadata, and data lineage domain.
  • Diagnose and deeply understand the needs of Spotify's data community, including data engineers, data scientists, analysts, ML engineers, and AI agents.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact problems, balancing user needs, business priorities, and regulatory considerations.
  • Evaluate and deliver solutions through building, buying, or integrating third-party products.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs to measure adoption, value creation, and business impact.
  • Build relationships with internal teams to gather feedback and shape future platform investments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science partners to deliver platform experiences.
  • Influence stakeholders across the Data Platform Studio and broader organization.
  • Shape how Spotify approaches metadata, governance, discoverability, and trust in an AI-driven world.
