Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience working in a startup, incubator, or other fast-paced 0-to-1 environment.
- Strong full-stack web application experience in Python, Ruby, Go, or other modern languages.
- Willingness to learn and work in Ruby.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and the prompt iteration lifecycle.
- Fluent with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must reside in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack components of the platform: Ruby web applications at scale, TypeScript/React front-end.
- Build agentic workflows that enhance the SDLC for engineers across the platform, evaluating improvements based on accuracy, latency, and cost.
- Strengthen platform and SDLC by building datasets, monitoring, tooling, practices, and workflows.
- Improve production observability by working with product teams to ensure effective monitoring of performance and reliability.
- Steer architectural and technical direction to ensure cohesive and consolidated standards for quality and reliability.
- Partner with product teams to identify use cases and enable support for them.
- Advise on best practices across platform use cases, service observability, maintenance, and operation.
