Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping software.
- Track record of leading projects from scoping through delivery.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
- Solid experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and managing external service dependencies.
- Experience with event-driven architectures or messaging systems like Pub/Sub, Kafka, SQS/SNS.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience working in remote, distributed team environments.
- Experience in growth-stage startups balancing speed and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex features end-to-end from scoping to rollout.
- Build full-stack features using NestJS/TypeScript for backend APIs and React/TypeScript for frontend interfaces.
- Contribute to web applications including member and admin portals and React Native mobile apps.
- Orchestrate integrations with third-party services including bank linking, investments, and notifications.
- Take ownership of services in production including on-call duties, monitoring, and incident response.
- Mentor and support engineers through code review, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
